Paperback. After surviving a devastating accident that nearly takes his life, Rick spends two years recovering-physically scarred and emotionally hollow. Not long after, his wife Helen is taken from him, leaving Rick burdened by survivor's guilt and an unanswered question: why did he live when she didn't? He withdraws from the world, finding solace in the quiet routine of maintaining his rural property, its weathered barn, and the small crop he tends as a way to stay grounded. When Maggie, a woman new to town, unexpectedly enters his life, Rick is caught off guard by feelings he believed were gone forever. Their growing connection challenges his loyalty to the past and sparks tension with family and friends who aren't ready to see him move forward. Loving Maggie feels both like hope and betrayal. As Rick faces resistance from those around him-and from himself-he must decide whether love is something that ends, or something that changes. What Comes After Love is an intimate drama about survival, forgiveness, and the courage it takes to choose life again. This item is printed on demand.
