Jahrhunderts - mit einer wechselvollen Geschichte im 19. Jahrhundert und einer qualitätvollen neugotischen Überformung anlässlich der Neuweihe 1883. Prägend für das Sandviertel ist sie seither durch ihr steil aufragendes Satteldach. Zu einem Kleinod moderner Glaskunst wurde sie erst jüngst: Der 2022 eingeweihte Fensterzyklus des Künstlers Markus Lüpertz (Jahrgang 1941) thematisiert das Leben der hl. Elisabeth und die biblischen Taten der Barmherzigkeit. Durch acht Fenster in Chor und Langhaus strahlt farbiges Licht in den Kirchenraum, lädt ihn spirituell und künstlerisch neu auf.Im Zuge der umfassenden Restaurierungen der Elisabethkirche durch die Stadt Bamberg in den vergangenen 20 Jahren bildete sich eine Bürgerinitiative, die Spendengelder für die Neuausstattung mit Künstlerfenstern sammelte. 2016 konnten die heute im Diözesanmuseum Bamberg befindlichen Entwurfskartons von Markus Lüpertz in Bamberg gezeigt werden.Die vorliegende Publikation ist die erste umfassende Darstellung der Elisabethenkirche und ihrer neuen Fenster. Zahlreiche Fachbeiträge behandeln die Baugeschichte und Ausstattung vom 15. Jahrhundert bis heute sowie die historistischen und neuen Fenster. Weitere Kapitel widmen sich dem Werkstoff Glas, der Entstehung der Fenster in den Glaswerkstätten sowie dem Weg vom Künstlerkarton zum fertigen Fenster.Mit Beiträgen von Holger Brülls, Norbert Jung, Barbara Kahle, Birgit Kastner, Anna Rothfuss, Alexandra Schmölder und Stefan Skowron.

If you use this option, we will communicate to you an acknowledgement of receipt of such a cancellation on a durable medium (e.g. by e-mail) without delay.
To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.
Effects of cancellation
If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).
We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel with contract.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
