nach der Bestellung gedruckt Neuware - Printed after ordering - A new edition of this classic and pioneering work, with 85 often rare and remarkable photographs. Welsh Sail tells the story of the shipbuilders, ship-owners and ports of Wales. Originally published in 1976, the author travelled to all the ports and harbours of Wales, explored archives and drew on the knowledge of Captains and sailors and their descendants. It contains vivid first hand accounts from some perilous voyages and brings home the hardships and the rewards of working the seas. There are sea mysteries, wrecks, tragedy and remarkable rescues, with some breath-taking first hand accounts. Now revised and updated.
