After the death of a close friend, young Infantryman James Jackson is thrust into a hunt for answers that explodes into a war on two fronts - against forces terrifyingly supernatural and enemies all too human.
With old comrades at his side and unlikely allies at his back, Jackson tears into the shadows surrounding a town steeped in violent, otherworldly history. What he uncovers is no mere haunting but a predatory evil with its claws sunk deep into the community's past.
To survive, he must push beyond the limits of a soldier's training and confront the darkness at its core - before it consumes everything he has left.

About the Author
I write from the thin places - the thresholds where the familiar world frays and older things press against the edges, waiting to be noticed. My stories live in that tension between what we see and what we fear, following people who confront nightmares born from history, memory, and the quiet corners of human nature.
Atmosphere is my compass. I'm drawn to haunted towns, forgotten wounds, and the kind of shadows that learn to walk like men. The mask I wear is more than an aesthetic; it's a symbol of the persona I step into when I create - a reminder that some truths are easier to face from behind a veil.
My work spans novels, artwork, and a growing mythos built from firelit visions and the echoes carried by anyone who has lived through darkness. Every story I tell is an invitation to step past the veil and listen to what waits on the other side.
