Paperback. "This novella contains the final chapters of THE WEIGHTMAN HOUSE SEANCE, presented here as an expanded Director's Cut for readers who want to experience the climax as a standalone event".Where we came from. This DIRECTOR'S CUT version follows Larry Olson, a collector who inadvertently enters a supernatural mystery after purchasing a vintage book titled McConnell's Odd Science Curiosities. He discovers that the volume possesses the occult ability to answer written questions after a four-hour delay, a power he uses to locate missing keys and identify a violent antagonist. The plot centers on a set of three linked books once owned by Clarence Richards, which become the target of a dangerous operative named Paul Monroe, who uses the alias Alistair Finch. Larry connects with a local bookseller, Gideon Jarboe, and the victim of a brutal assault, Carla Richards, to piece together the history of the collection. The conflict culminates in a tense confrontation at a bookstore, where the villain's own aggression leads to a fatal structural accident. Ultimately, the story explores the intersection of historical spiritualism and a modern-day struggle for power over mystical artifacts. This item is printed on demand.
