Item description from seller

"The Week End Companion" was a source of entertainment for folks in the '30s and '40s. It contains 246 indexed pages of poems, songs, three-minute plays, and quizzes or brain teasers. The condition is very good, with no marks, tears or folds on the pages, but there is the number 25 written in orange crayon on the ffl. The pages are brown with age and the tops of the pages are quite dusty. The green cloth cover shows a man playing a guitar with the title stamped in dark green. It is slightly soiled but has no other signs of wear. The binding is very tight.
