Paperback. Weeds and Seeds brings Nature's symbiosis to children. At a time when technology and society seem so detached from the environment, this touching story is about reconnecting with source. Plants, trees, animals and the environment - our existence depends on them, and has a major impact on them. For thousands of years we collected herbs and vegetables prior to each meal and served them fresh to our family. Today, buying it all is more convenient but often raises sensitivities, allergies and lacks nutrients. Weeds and Seeds shows how the connection to nature is still available to us. Wild nutritious plants grow naturally in fields, city parks, gardens and backyards. Beautifully illustrated by a local artist named Scott Bunston, it helps children learn the benefits of what Nature provides all around us. This book is a must in every home. Weeds and Seeds will empower them with the knowledge of how to recognize several wild and edible plants. Children deserve to feel connected to source and know how to witness the incredible bond we have with nature. This item is printed on demand. Shipping may be from our UK warehouse or from our Australian or US warehouses, depending on stock availability.…
