Neuware - Weed control aims to stop noxious weeds from competing with the desired flora and fauna. It plays a vital role in agriculture. They also contaminate harvests and interfere with the management of desirable plants. The diverse methods of weed control are broadly divided into physical methods, cultural methods and chemical methods. The physical methods include covering the weed, manual removal, thermal methods, tillage and seed targeting. Some of the cultural methods of weed control are stale seed beds and crop rotation. The management of pests which have adverse effects upon human activities is termed as pest control. Biological pest control and pesticides are a few methods of controlling pests. Biological pest control relies on predation and usage of other organisms to control pests. This book brings forth some of the most innovative concepts and elucidates the unexplored aspects of weed and pest control. Some of the diverse topics covered in this book address the varied methods used within these fields. Those in search of information to further their knowledge will be greatly assisted by this book.…
