159pp, maroon cloth with embossed title, a fine copy with no external or internal markings, very fresh, clean, and bright, in a dust jacket with light soiling and a tiny chip at the tail of one of the folds, occasional minor foxing at flaps, and a small stain at rear, now housed in protective Brodart. From the editor, "This collection of Scotch bits of humor and poems was gathered largely from the pages of The Scottish American Journal, reaching over a period of more than half a century's publication. Its publisher, the late Dr. A. M. Stewart, was a Scot of broad influences in the United States. A man of high ideals and attainments, and with a deep understanding of Scotch character, he kept the fires of Scottish loyalty burning in the hearts of his readers, at the same time stressing loyalty to the adopted land." Scarce.
