Circa 1850's. 2 Volume set . Brown leather boards, signs of wear to both volumes particularly to the spine. Inside board to volume 1 becoming loose. Small inscriptions to inside front board. 596pp in each volume with additional pages of plates at the rear. Some foxing to first blank pages of both volumes. Remaining pages are clean. Condition: Fair. No edition remarks. 613 pages. No dust jacket. Half bound brown leather with brown cloth covered boards and gilt lettering to spine. Fold-out black and white illustrations. Pages with some foxing and tanning, particularly to endpapers and textblock edges. Cracking to hinges with binding slightly loose. Boards have heavy wear with bumped and abraded corners.
