Limited edition, limited to three hundred copies.A collection of poetry by the Georgian poet Wilfrid Wilson Gibson, comprising of thirty-four poems in total, including 'The Mushroom-Gatherers', 'A Lament For the Body', 'King Ormel', 'Between the Songs', 'Love's Blindness', and more.Gibson is now more associated with poetry of World War I, and for his friendship with Rupert Brooke.Published by the Samurai Press, founded in 1906, with the aim to publish beautiful and reasonably priced works by young and little known authors. The Press published thirty books over its life. In the original publisher's quarter cloth binding with paper to the boards. Externally, smart. Minor handling marks and a few patches of discolouration to the boards and spine. Spine label is a little marked with some small chips. Very light bumping to the head and tail of the spine. Bookplate to the front paste down. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with a few odd spots. Very Good.
