Neuware - THE WAY YOU SMILED WHEN I DIEDSome love stories begin with a kiss. This one begins with a funeral. When Armaan attends his father's funeral, the last thing he expects to find is a woman who looks at him as though she has known him all his life. Her name is Elena Vale.Beautiful. Intelligent. Unsettling. She doesn't grieve for his father. She doesn't fear death. And she seems to know secrets about Armaan's family that should have died with the dead. Then the impossible begins.A voice belonging to his dead father comes from an empty room.A man who was declared dead decades ago appears alive.Hidden beneath the family mansion is an archive filled with photographs, medical records, missing names, and secrets that were never meant to be discovered. And somewhere among them is the truth about Armaan's mother. The deeper Armaan digs, the more he realizes that his childhood was built on lies. His memories may not belong entirely to him.His family may not be what he believed. And Elena may be the one person who can tell him the truth-or the one person most determined to destroy him.Their attraction is immediate, dangerous, and impossible to ignore. But Elena doesn't love gently. She loves like a wound.Like a secret.Like a loaded gun left beneath the pillow. As desire turns into obsession and curiosity turns into paranoia, Armaan begins to wonder whether he is falling in love with Elena.or simply becoming another victim of the darkness surrounding her.Because in this family, people don't stay dead.Secrets don't stay buried. And sometimes the person lying beside you at night is the same person who will smile when you die.A dark psychological romance filled with obsession, forbidden desire, black humour, family secrets, betrayal, mystery, and a haunting battle between love and destruction. Some people are meant to be loved. Some are meant to be feared.Elena was never meant to be either.…
