Paperback. The Way of the Cross 978-0-89942-014-1Saint Alphonsus Liguori's The Way of the Cross from Catholic Book Publishing is a beautiful and reverent devotion to the Sacred Passion of our Lord, following Jesus along the Fourteen Stations of the Cross from His condemnation to death by Pontius Pilate, to His being laid in the tomb. In full color with a flexible cover, The Way of the Cross is a devout meditation that allows readers to be prayerfully present to Jesus' Passion and sacrifice. The Way of the Cross holds deep spiritual value as a devotion that allows believers to meditate on the suffering and sacrifice of Jesus Christ. This practice, traditionally observed during Lent, especially on Good Friday, helps Christians reflect on Christ's Passion, fostering a greater appreciation for His love and the price of redemption. One of the greatest values of The Way of the Cross is its power to deepen personal faith. By contemplating each Station--from Christ's condemnation to His burial--participants enter into the mystery of His suffering, making His sacrifice more personal and meaningful. This meditation encourages gratitude, repentance, and a renewed commitment to discipleship.
