Can a land tortoise learn to swim? A heartwarming tale of an unlikely friendship, a daring rescue, and the bond between two "cousins" of the wild.
When a curious little tortoise meets a water turtle at the edge of a shimmering pond, he wishes more than anything to dive in and swim just like his new friend. But the deep water holds a dangerous surprise!
The Water Turtle and the Tortoise is a beautifully told story of courage and compassion. When the tortoise finds himself in deep trouble, it is the brave water turtle who dives in to save the day. Their adventure leads to a lifelong bond, proving that even those from different worlds—one from the water and one from the bushes—can be the very best of friends.
