Paperback. In the not-so-distant, gig-driven land of "Merica", where rent is high and opportunities scarce, meet Ned-a resilient dog just trying to make ends meet driving a car. But as Ned and his fellow canine companions face an increasingly bleak and unjust future, they must band together against the forces that threaten to chew them up and spit them out. This darkly humorous and surprisingly poignant tale, told in evocative verse, with wonderfully satirical illustrations that will leave you laughing, then thinking, then reaching for a tissue. Some critics have called it a modern day dystopian Dr. Seuss book. This item is printed on demand. Shipping may be from our UK warehouse or from our Australian or US warehouses, depending on stock availability.
