Paperback. The Manhattan Subway was the last place Dany Jordan expected to find the man who would put joy in her life. But when Drew came to her aid, rescuing her runaway papers blowing throughout the underground, she was instantly captivated by his kindness, charm, and quirky sense of humor. Dany had been raised by strangers and had no concept of family, but when Drew shared his dream of starting a large family of their own as soon as he finished his medical training, she was all in. Her new life would be filled with love and the security that she knew all children needed. Then fate, in the guise of a monstrous mutation of a man, ripped it all away, once again leaving Dany with nothing but a joyless life of loneliness.along with the monstrous killer's threatening demand to "Wait for Me." Barely surviving with the haunting nightmares of the one who stalks her, she at last resolves to stand her ground and become the huntress rather than the prey, swearing to destroy the one who destroys.
