About Waimakariri Books and Prints Limited
Waimakariri Books and Prints Limited is a small, family-owned business, based near Oxford, 50 km to the west of Christchurch, within the view of the Southern Alps. We trade exclusively online, and are not open to visitors. Our specialisms have grown from personal interests, so that we now offer a selection of antique maps and prints, and of rare and scarce books. Our particular interests are in children's books, modern literature, and maps and prints of Australasia and the British Isles. We also carry a significant stock of classic British comics from the period after World War One. This includes the Schoolboys Own Library, the Beano, the Dandy, and later titles which emerged during our childhood (the 1960s and 70s).
