SOMETHING OLD HAS AWAKENED IN BLACKWATER RIDGE. AND IT WANTS REVENGE.
Months after the harrowing case that nearly destroyed her, FBI Agent Mallory Crane is trying to restore some sense of normalcy. But when a local man is found dead on Old Pine Road-his face frozen in terror and no sign of what killed him-Mallory is pulled back into the nightmare she thought had ended.
All signs point to the legend of Jane Warren, a woman accused of witchcraft and executed more than two centuries ago. The locals call her the Wailing Witch, claiming her spirit haunts the ridge, cursing the bloodlines of those who wronged her. Mallory doesn't believe in curses. But when the deaths begin to follow a chilling pattern tied to the town's founding families, even she can't ignore what's staring her in the face.
Working once again with Sheriff Garrett Cole, Mallory must separate myth from truth before history repeats itself. But the deeper they dig, the more they realize, this isn't just a haunting...It's a reckoning.
Because in Blackwater Ridge, the past never dies. It waits.
And this time, it's calling Mallory by name.
The Wailing Witch of Blackwater Ridge is a chilling continuation of the Blackwater Ridge series-a dark blend of crime, the paranormal and Appalachian folklore where every legend hides a grain of truth and every truth has a price.
