This book expands and complements the latest research results in this field. It introduces in detail the basic principle, growth technology, development status and device application trend of Quasi van der Waals Epitaxy growth of nitride on 2D materials. It also discusses the future development of nitride material growth and device application together in the field. It is hoped that the publication of this book presents the frontier development status and prospect of nitride growth and application to personnel in related fields, hoping to bring more thinking and generate positive innovation points to readers.

About the Author
Tongbo Wei is currently a professor in the Materials Physics and Chemistry. His research interests focus on wide bandgap semiconductor materials and devices, new micro-nano photoelectronic devices, deep ultraviolet light emitting devices, ultraviolet communication and van der Waals and remote epitaxy of nitrides. He participated in many national projects in the nitride fields and made important contribution in solid-state lighting, such as high efficiency blue LEDs and deep ultraviolet LEDs. He published more than 160 papers, applied for more than 60 patents, and made more than 10 presentations at international conferences.
Zhiqiang Liu is currently a professor in Microelectronics and Solid-State Electronics. His current research interests include wide bandgap materials growth and fabrication of optoelectric devices, nitride power devices, the first-principles calculations, van der Waals and remote epitaxy of nitrides, and high-resolution display devices. He has made pioneering contributions to the development of solid-state lighting in China and participated in many national projects in the nitrides field.
Jinmin Li has been engaged in the growth and equipment research of nitride semiconductor materials for a long time. His research interests focus on compound semiconductor single crystal materials and nitride materials epitaxy. He has made outstanding contributions to the research and development of optoelectronic devices, and optics for optical communications and solid-state lighting in China. He has published more than 300 papers, applied for more than 100 patents, and made more than 20 invited presentations at international conferences.
