FIRST EDITION. 8vo. (7.5 x 5.2 inches). A very good copy in publishers dark blue cloth with gilt lettering to spine. Front board ruled and lettered in blind and with publishers circular logo to the centre, also blind stamped. Some minor rubbing to the edges but overall a very good copy. Issued in the "Irishmen of Today" series. The Allan Wade bibliography of W. B. Yeats dates the book as 1916 but both the British Library and Trinity Library in Dublin date it as 1915. This is backed up by a footnote that refers to an article by Lady Gregory that was published in the Irish Times on 4th October 1915, "as the book goes to press". The work is in three sections, Early Life and Work, Irish and other influences, & Theatre and Later Work.: Seller Inventory # 7123
