Bruccoli Clark Collector's Edition (as specified on copyright page) - #80 of a limited edition of 350 copies SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR. Unpaged - 25 pages of printed text. String-tied paperback: H 24.5cm x L 19.5cm. Brown paper over yellow-green paper covers. Interior leaves are clean. Binding is firm. "A note by the author" on pages 3-6 followed by a facsimile reproduction of the first chapter of Jones' "Whistle" typescript with his various corrections/edits (pages 8-24). Limitation statement, handwritten copy#, and the author's boldly written black ink signature upon page 25. A fine copy. Original owner's December 1981 receipt from Chicago bookseller Beasley Books laid-in for posterity's sake.
