pp: 713. First soft cover edition. Bound in pictorial card covers. Introduction by Runoko Rashidi. Originally published in 2005 in a scarce hard cover edition. One of the most comprehensive histories of the continent of Africa. Illustrations include maps, full colour prints, and black and white drawings. The notes are at the end of each chapter for easy reference. And, by the way, if you think Africa is a county, this book is a must read. The appendices contain a chronological table, bibliography, and index. A very good, or better, copy with light signs of wear to the extremities of the cover. There are no reading creases on the spine.
