xiv,316pp. Original blue publisher's cloth, spine gilt. A few small stains on front cover, minor rubbing to cloth. Previous owner's inscription erased from front pastedown. Inscribed by the author on front fly leaf. Internally clean. Very good. In a blue half morocco and cloth slipcase, gilt. First English edition, inscribed by Roosevelt, of the President's personal account of the first year of his administration and the objectives of the New Deal.
