The Brookline Reservoir was the terminus of the 15 mile aqueduct from Lake Cochituate. It was only the second major urban aqueduct in the U.S., the first was New York s Croton Aqueduct built six years earlier. A scarce Lowell piece, BAL 13067 state B (no priority) lists a handful.
