Add to basket1927. Good condition with no wrapper. Twenty-second year of issue. Red cloth spine. Pictorial front board shows child with a plate of fruit. 12 colour plates plus two-tone and b/w illustrations to text throughout. Pictorial endpapers by Alan Wright. First story is The Magic Knocker by Christine Chaundler. 264 pages. 10" x 7.25". Spine bumped and worn with splits to top and bottom. 5.5" split in cloth at front edge. Corners bumped and very worn. Board edges rubbed and scuffed. Scuffing and some marks to boards. Front joint cracked at top. Endpapers browned. Name and address in ink to verso of front endpaper. Ink tracing of picture beneath on tissue guard for frontis. 3 plates are MISSING. Foxing and some grubby margin marks. Packaged with care and promptly dispatched!
