It is difficult to imagine our modern daily life style without using and profit of products stocked by different industries pharmaceuticals, petrochemicals, agrochemicals, etc.). Unfortunately together with the rise of chemical manufacture and use, has come increasing public awareness and concern regarding presence of this chemicals in surrounding environment due to possible negative consequences of them linked to human health and biota. In this work attention was given to volatile organic compounds analysis methodologies from surface water in order to could evaluate their safety status.

BSc, MSc and PhD were completed at Babes-Bolyai University during period of 2001 – 2010.Experience in the field of chromatography and mass spectrometry have been acquired during the years of study and research working as an assistant at the Environmental Science and Engineering Faculty (2005 – 2011) and later as researcher at the INCDTIM.
