Each property in Jacobson's carefully curated collection offers a unique window into our nation's rich heritage.
Experience Living History
Marvel at the 1750s charm of Oxford, Maryland's Robert Morris Inn, where Chesapeake Bay watermen still dock their boats as they have for generations. Feel the Civil War's lingering presence at Gettysburg's historic Dobbin House Tavern and Farnsworth House, where bullet holes still mark the walls. Discover the colonial elegance of Virginia's Red Fox Inn & Tavern, a fixture in hunt country since 1728, or the intimate luxury of The Inn at Perry Cabin, where presidents and dignitaries have retreated for decades.

Maryland gems such as the Atlantic Hotel in Berlin and the elegant Inn at Perry Cabin on the Eastern Shore reveal Chesapeake maritime traditions. Virginia's selections, from the storied Wayside Inn to the luxurious Goodstone Inn, embody Southern hospitality and Revolutionary War legacy.
More Than Just Places to Stay
These aren't merely accommodations—they're destinations unto themselves. Many feature award-winning restaurants serving historically-inspired cuisine, beautifully preserved architecture, ghost tours, and special events that bring their stories to life.
