Paperback. Bjorn Thorgunson is a Norseman from Sweden during the Viking Age; Hiro Kishimoto is a Samurai from the early Heian era. Both of them dream of a more fulfilling life, full of adventure. But when they both find identical amulets, nothing would prepare them for what would happen. When they wake up on a parallel world, they discover that what would be mythical in their world, exist very much in this one. Together, they must aid the people of the world in a war against an evil that threatens to conquer them all. On their adventure, they find their true strengths, the power of the amulets and discover that their journey has only just begun. The Viking and the Samurai is the first book in a series aptly named: The Viking and The Samurai saga.
