A Delightful, Fun, and an Easy ReadKen White grew up listening to colorful stories in his father's New York candy store. Restocking the store's magazine racks with Architectural Digest, House Beautiful, and National Geographic gave him a glimpse into a world of possibilities beyond Brooklyn and awakened in him a passion for design, decorating, and travel.Following the sun--and his openly gay lifestyle--Ken moved to Los Angeles in 1964 and founded a flourishing interior design firm. Follow Ken on his spiritual journey from the ashrams in India to psychic development classes in Hollywood. Learn how his travels and Jewish upbringing in New York City influenced his adventures. The stories of Ken's outrageous and spirited life in A View from the Back of the Candy Store are heartwarming, funny, and, at times, tear-provoking.…
