After the catastrophic world event known as The Fallout, civilization has crumbled into chaos. Once-thriving nations are now divided into city-states, ruled by violent gangs and oppressive leaders. Dust and smoke choke the skies above ruined skyscrapers. The world’s survivors call the devastated cities Forlorns, while the rare thriving ones are Prospects—symbols of the powerful elite who still control what’s left of humanity.
From the ashes rises Congress, a ruthless, corrupt government regime enforcing brutal laws and crushing all resistance. Hidden behind anonymity, each leader is known only by a letter—Congress Member A through L—and their mission is simple: total control. They patrol the wastelands, hunt rebels, and destroy anyone who challenges their new world order.
Among the shadows, Mike and his rebel group of outcasts—children of the very tyrants who rule the world—call themselves The Long Forgotten Sons. Determined to reclaim their home and restore freedom, they risk everything to fight back against Congress and its fanatical Followers.
When Mike discovers a mysterious Anima —a purple ear device capable of manipulating energy and unlocking deadly superhuman abilities —he begins to unravel secrets that could change everything. But power comes at a price—and in a society fueled by corruption and fear, rebellion and this futuristic technology might be humanity’s last hope.
Can Mike and the other Orphans harness the Anima’s power to ignite a revolution? Or will they fall to the same system that destroyed the world?
Find out in Victims: Part 2 — a gripping YA dystopian sci-fi novel about the fight for survival in a ruined world, and for freedom in a shattered future. Follow along in this young adult dystopian fiction series, along with post-apocalyptic science fiction.
