- Book 3 of 6: Vibe Coding Masterclass Series
Cursor is not VS Code with a chatbot. It is a fundamentally different kind of editor — one where AI reads your intent, predicts your next move, generates entire features from a single paragraph, and executes development tasks autonomously. Thousands of professional developers have already switched. This book shows you why, and teaches you how to master every capability Cursor offers.
Vibe Coding with Cursor is the third book in the Vibe Coding Masterclass Series. While Book 1 introduced the philosophy of AI-powered development and Book 2 covered the command-line agent Claude Code, this book puts you inside the IDE where most development actually happens — and makes AI a first-class citizen of your entire editing experience.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
• Master Cursor’s four core features: Tab (AI autocomplete), Chat (codebase-aware conversations), Composer (multi-file generation), and Agent Mode (autonomous task execution)
• Build five real projects: a habit tracker app, a SaaS product with Stripe payments, a React Native mobile app, a Python data dashboard, and production DevOps infrastructure
• Write Cursor Rules that make every AI suggestion match your coding standards
• Use the @ reference system for surgical precision in your AI prompts
• Develop a multi-model strategy — choosing between Claude, GPT-4o, and Gemini for each task
• Debug faster, test more, and review code with AI assistance
• Manage AI-assisted development in large codebases and across teams
• Navigate security, privacy, and ownership in AI-generated code
WHO THIS BOOK IS FOR
• Developers of all levels who want to master the most popular AI-native IDE
• Indie hackers and solo founders who need to ship products in days, not months
• Non-technical founders who want to build their own MVP with plain English
• Engineering teams and CTOs evaluating Cursor for enterprise adoption
• Designers who want to turn mockups into real, working code
WHAT’S INSIDE
• 25 chapters across 6 parts, from installation to advanced techniques
• 60 ready-to-use prompt templates for every common task
• Cursor Rules starter files for Next.js, Django, React Native, and Python
• Model selection guide: Claude vs GPT-4o vs Gemini
• Keyboard shortcuts master list and @ reference cheat sheet
• Real prompts you can type into Cursor exactly as written
THE VIBE CODING MASTERCLASS SERIES
Book 1: Vibe Coding — The philosophy and foundations of AI-powered development
Book 2: Vibe Coding with Claude Code — The command-line AI coding agent
Book 3: Vibe Coding with Cursor (this book) — The AI-native IDE
Each book stands on its own. Together, they form a complete education in AI-assisted software development.
The distance between having an idea and seeing it built has never been shorter. This book teaches you how to close that gap.

Store description
**Please note our transit times are from the date of dispatch.** We first started out as “The Paperback Exchange,” a chain of physical bookstores where we would part exchange your beloved books for new stories to transport you to faraway places. However, as shopping started to evolve to online shops and marketplaces, we bid our stores goodbye to become “PBShop.” This transition has only allowed us to blossom as we now ship thousands of titles to book lovers across the globe. We pride ourselves in being a community of local book lovers which allows our passion and devotion to shine in everything we do. In 2020 we not only celebrated our 20th birthday but our 1st birthday as being completely employee owned after becoming an E.O.T in September 2019. We are proud to be different and embrace standing apart on a book mountain by working from a virtual inventory which allows us to provide thousands of books that may be difficult to get for your bookshelf or your studies. Working with a number of different suppliers allows us to explore other avenues such as puzzles, sheet music and even stationery so we really do have something for everyone. Life is about being versatile in all realms of existence. If this is your first purchase with us, or you are a returning customer, we would like to welcome you to the PBShop family, for there is no friend as loyal as a book. We are a company who put our customers at the centre of everything we do as we understand the importance of reading because once you learn to read, you will forever be free. There are a whole lot of things in this world of ours that we are yet to explore, which is why we will forever inspire curious minds.…
