Spine with green label. = Rare privately published, annotated list of the shell collection of one of Germany's foremost malacologists. It is very important because it contains the description of many new species, the majority being still valid today. Part of the Anton collection is in the Staatliche Museum für Thierkunde in Dresden. A good biography of Anton (1794-1872) is still wanting. Boards and spine rubbed at edges; light to moderate marginal foxing, otherwise a very good, clean copy. Caprotti II, p. 7 [171].
