Print on Demand. This book is a detailed analysis of the historical accuracy of the Hexateuch, the first six books of the Old Testament, which tell the story of the Israelites' journey from Egypt to the Promised Land. The author argues that these books are not just religious texts, but also valuable historical documents that can be corroborated by archaeological and other evidence. The author supports this claim by examining the archaeological evidence for the Exodus from Egypt, the conquest of Canaan, and the establishment of the Israelite kingdom. He also discusses the literary style and structure of the Hexateuch, arguing that it is consistent with the idea that it was written by multiple authors over a long period of time. Overall, this book is a valuable resource for anyone interested in the history of ancient Israel or the reliability of the Bible. The author presents a compelling case for the historical accuracy of the Hexateuch, and his insights will be of interest to scholars and laypeople alike. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book.…

No one can be more sensible of the difficulty of meeting the requirements above indicated than the present writer, and he by no means claims to have accomplished it. For a long course of years, how ever, he has followed the discussion, examining all available materials for the solution of the question, while waiting for the light that was to come from further discoveries. But the process of research is a stream that never ceases to flow on; and the call for some practical showing of its combined results up to the present time seems to be urgent.
