Neuware - When the law fails to give justice, where does one turn Tonio Martini, living in Cortale, a village in southern Italy during 1900, is confronted by just such a quandary. When his well-loved cousin, Bettina, is violently raped, the biased Judge releases the three perpetrators. Tonio and the family can either do nothing, or resort to the honor code of the vendetta. Tonio takes it upon himself to do the latter with the prospect of further ugliness and violence. How can such a dilemma be resolved.
