Paperback. The Veil of Infinity is a gripping science-fiction historical thriller that intertwines Nazi mysticism with a time-bending conspiracy interwoven with the legacy of Subhas Chandra Bose and the Indian National Army (INA). Set against the backdrop of World War II and its aftermath, the novel follows the story of two Nazi officers, Obersturmbannfuehrer (Major) Jakob and Hauptsturmfuehrer (Captain) Kurt, who, in a desperate attempt to salvage the fallen Third Reich, activate a mysterious and dangerous machine hidden in an underground tunnel in occupied Poland. This device, linked to horrifying experiments conducted at the Gross-Rosen concentration camp, promises to change the course of history. As the machine is activated, both men are catapulted into a nightmarish journey through time and space, awakening in the post-apocalyptic future, where the line between reality and illusion blurs. The narrative explores the dark consequences of unchecked ambition, misguided loyalty, and the relentless pursuit of power. The novel reveals parallel storylines involving Colonel Prashanta Sen, an officer of the INA, and Lieutenant Colonel Sunanda Malik of the British Indian Army, both of whom also find themselves inexplicably thrust into the future. Their fates become entwined as they try to uncover the secrets of their mysterious time displacement. The novel seamlessly weaves together elements of Nazi occultism, alternate history, and dystopian science fiction, making it a thought-provoking exploration of the fragility of reality. With themes of war, sacrifice, and the dangers of totalitarian ideologies, The Veil of Infinity challenges readers to question the past, present, and future. Sourav Halder's masterful storytelling and vivid descriptions of both historical and speculative scenarios make The Veil of Infinity a unique and compelling addition to the genre, appealing to fans of alternate history, conspiracy theories, and science fiction alike. This book offers a daring take on history and speculative fiction, with a strong opposition to Zionist conspiracies and global control narratives, providing a controversial yet captivating narrative that challenges mainstream historical interpretations.
