He's already experienced the death of his father, financial setbacks, the rupture of his education, and encounters in his adopted home of the US that reflect a spectrum of charity and greed. Through Sam-whose life journey takes him from Accra, Ghana to Long Island to rural Arkansas-we experience not only challenges and isolation, but also the perseverance, courage, and humor required to build a life in America from scratch. Through one man's eyes, this personal story of faith and strength will inspire readers to never give up on their own dreams.
