To make sure they can control their thirst for blood, each vampire family has been assigned a human they must keep alive within their household for a year, or else. Carnita, Alexa, and Salem, three sisters that compose the 13th family, have been assigned a 22-year-old who happens to be a tad too curious. Eventually, it becomes obvious they aren't fit to take care of a human, nor is their home safe for one. Considering their lives depend on it, will they manage to keep him alive.
