Print on Demand. This book offers a glimpse into the extraordinary spiritual life of Sister Benigna Consolata Ferrero, a Visitandine nun from Como, Italy. Through her intimate writings, dictated by Jesus himself, we discover a soul consumed by divine love and driven by a profound desire to serve God and his Church. The author, Sister Benigna's confessor, paints a vivid portrait of her journey towards holiness, marked by intense prayer, unwavering obedience, and a remarkable spirit of self-sacrifice. He details her mystical experiences, including interior locutions and visions, and reveals the deep humility that kept her grounded amidst these extraordinary graces. Sister Benigna's life, though short, serves as a powerful testament to the transformative power of divine love. Her example inspires us to embrace the cross in our own lives, to trust unreservedly in God's mercy, and to seek an ever-deepening union with the Divine Heart. Ultimately, this book reminds us that even the seemingly insignificant acts of love and fidelity can have a profound impact on the world, drawing countless souls closer to the infinite love of Jesus. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book.…

The vademecum Proposed to Religious Souls is an inseparable companion of the Life of Sister Benigna Consolata Ferrero, whose short and heavenly career on earth is here briefly sketched by the hand of the saintly Father Piccinelli, now vicar-general of Como, who was her Confessor during the nine years of her relig ious life. Who so fitted to speak of her virtues as the guide who led her angelic soul along the mystical ways of the Garden of Love, supporting her full often through deserts of spiritual desolation and terror, arming her with the precious weapons of humility and confidence against the host of unseen enemies that strove to win this Little Secretary of Jesus?
Part First (fifty pages) is a wonderful Manual of Prayers, from the Via Crucis, (dictated by our Lord to His Apostle of Mercy in November, to the last burning Prayer for the Renovation of Vows. Again in Part Second we can feed our souls on the Mysteries of the Holy Rosary, fly to Heaven on the wings of Love and Desire, and, under the suggestions of Jesus Himself, make a holy and enchanting Monthly Preparation for Death.
