Sixth American edition. Language: Latin. 8vo. Pages bear rippling at the top free corners of the final hundred leaves, a few clear droplets leaving water lines in margins, sparsely scattered foxing, pencil marks at both sets of endpapers, and a long tear on the nonetheless complete fold-out map. The front free endpaper and half-title are absent. The binding remains overall secure; the contemporary leather shows scuffs and small insect scores front and back, wear to the boards at all free corners, chipping around the heel, and small spots of loss to the spine label, otherwise sound. xxiv, [568], Clavis Virgiliana [iv], 106pp. This complete text of the works of Virgil is followed by the "Clavis Vergiliana," which provides English translations to all the Latin words that appear in the Virgilian corpus.
