Il testo comprende una introduzione che riporta cenni biografici del poeta, un excursus riguardante la fortuna, la rassegna delle opere, Bucoliche, Georgiche ed Eneide, con la sintesi dei libri di ciascuna di esse, in particolare la struttura del libro VII e la sua fortuna dall'antichita, fino al XVIII sec., la trascrizione del libro stesso con la traduzione a fronte e, in appendice, la Vita di Virgilio, redatta da Elio Donato, nell'originale e anch'essa con traduzione a fronte.Nel VII libro, indicato nei tempi antichi come l'inizio della seconda parte del poema ispirato all'Iliade, Sir Archibald Geikie coglie l'abilita espressiva di Virgilio nel rappresentare la bellezza dei luoghi e la meraviglia di Enea alla vista del Tevere: "Nella scena descritta da Virgilio, quando Enea vede per la prima volta il Tevere, il poeta mostra la sua abile arte e, allo stesso tempo, il suo orgoglioso apprezzamento per il fiume tanto caro a ogni romano. Egli ha cura di collocare l'evento al mattino presto, in primavera o all'inizio dell'estate, quando il paesaggio e al massimo del suo splendore e la prima impressione della scena e tale, da deliziare i cuori dei Troiani che entrano nella terra promessa".Di seguito sono riassunte le principali tematiche del libro.Approdato sulla costa, Enea subisce un ulteriore lutto: muore la nutrice Gaeta, in onore della quale nomina la localita dal nome di lei, ivi sepolta. Avvistati i lidi della dimora di Circe, col vento in poppa imbocca il fiume Tevere controcorrente, raggiungendo Laurento.Virgilio invoca la musa Erato, affinche egli possa descrivere la condizione dell'antico Lazio e narrare i prodigi annunzianti l'arrivo dei Troiani.La fine del viaggio e giunta, ora Enea deve trovare un luogo per fondare la nuova citta, per questo invia ambasciatori al re Latino, signore di quei territori. L'accoglienza del sovrano e favorevole allo stanziamento degli esuli, con i quali e predisposto a stabilire una duratura alleanza, sancita dal matrimonio della propria figlia Lavinia con l'eroe.Ancora una volta Giunone sconvolge i piani, per ostacolare i Troiani: evoca dal l'inferno la Furia Aletto affinche infonda discordie prima nell'animo di Amata, moglie di Latino, poi in Turno, il re dei Rutuli, al quale era stata promessa in matrimonio Lavinia, e infine crea discordia fra la gioventu troiana e i contadini del Lazio. Incita allo scontro, suonando la tromba di guerra: divampa il combattimento feroce. Riportati i morti in citta, Turno ed Amata inutilmente istigano il re Latino affinche vendichi il sangue versatoPoiche Latino si rifiuta di aprire le porte del tempio di Giano, Giunone stessa le apre alla Guerra.L'ultima parte del libro (vv.641-817) costituisce una autentica rassegna degli antichi popoli italici, Equi, Sabini, Osci, Ausoni, che partecipano alla contesa. Effects of withdrawal

We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
You shall send back the goods or hand them over to Grand Eagle Retail, Bensenville, Illinois, U.S.A., without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired. You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods.
