First edition thus, reprinting the author's only publushed book (Poet Skies and Other Experiments in Versification, Baltimore, 1868), with some of her manuscript poems and a biographical sketch by the editor added. 16mo. xv, 85 pp. Portrait frontispiece of the author, John C. Calhoun's granddaughter. Red patterned cloth, publisher's acetate dust jacket (torn); edges foxed, else very good.
