Conocemos a los grandes protagonistas del 18 de julio de 1936, como Mola, Franco o Queipo de Llano, que pusieron en jaque al Gobierno de la Segunda República con su golpe de Estado y la guerra civil resultante de este. Sin embargo, detrás de estos hombres hubo mucho otros cargos medios e incluso civiles que contribuyeron a la victoria del bando sublevado. Esta obra pone nombre y apellidos a quienes lo hicieron posible en Zaragoza, ciudad que planteaba un reto mayúsculo para los golpistas por ser el segundo núcleo urbano más importante bajo su control, por la presencia consolidada de las organizaciones de izquierdas y por su cercanía a Cataluña.
David Alegre aborda la lógica y el funcionamiento de la campaña sistemática de asesinatos desplegada por el bando golpista en la ciudad entre el verano y el otoño de 1936, que acabó con la vida de unos 3.500 civiles de toda la provincia, la mayor parte de ellos ejecutados en la capital aragonesa. En base a un exhaustivo proceso de investigación analiza con todo detalle quiénes fueron los principales perpetradores a cargo de las ejecuciones, desde las reuniones al más alto nivel hasta el pie de fosa. Aunque cambiaron para siempre la historia de España, la mayoría de ellos han pasado desapercibidos hasta hoy. Así pues, el público lector tiene ante sí la oportunidad de adentrarse en las vidas y motivaciones de dos generaciones de hombres nacidos entre 1885 y 1915, todos ellos atravesados por los acontecimientos clave de su tiempo, desde la pérdida de Cuba hasta los miedos del periodo de la Segunda República.

Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us).
We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
