'Billy Dering has pulled out all stops for the stunning conclusion to this conceptual, high-action trilogy. I enjoyed the idea behind this series from the beginning and followed its twists and turns through military and political movements, rebellions, kidnappings, and multiple battles; Utopia Project is the penultimate of these
elements.' - Readers' Favorite, 5/5 stars
'The exquisite narrative style, fascinatingly threaded plot layers, and the balance between flashbacks and the present were top-notch and spun a gripping tale'- OnlineBookClub.org, 5/5 stars
In the final installment of Billy Dering’s Utopia Project trilogy, the truths uncovered and the twists that follow, will rewrite history…
The battered survivors of the apocalyptic event, losing cover at their new hideaway, are attacked and trapped in an underground tunnel system by hostile Utopia Project troops. A small contingent of survivors flies to the last area of the world left unscathed in Italy. Unfortunately for Kid Carlson, Sara Hyland and her father, General Hyland, the enemy is one step ahead and they are being guided by the traitorous Heidi Leer. A dogfight ensues, and the survivors take refuge under the Isle of Capri in a series of Roman-era secret chambers. After torpedoing their combatants, the survivor group limps back to America.
Back in New Jersey, the enemy has restored communication with one of their satellites. Now unable to hide, the survivors hastily develop a life or death plan to wipe out the leaders of the Utopia Project and take control of the 20,000 project members. Their offensive nearly succeeds until one of the three massive Utopia Project ships, commandeered by the escaping Elder-3, pulls up anchor to make a break for it. When shocking revelations about General Hyland’s past and Sara Hyland’s mother start coming out, a distraught Sara runs back to her home on the mainland. There she is ambushed by familiar, hostile enemies who also have miraculously survived. A colossal clash ensues when Kid and General Hyland desperately try to save Sara. The outcome, the truths uncovered, and the twists that follow, will rewrite history…
