Paperback. The business of agriculture has historically been low-tech. However, computer science has revolutionized this industry. In this fascinating book, future coders will learn about innovations in agriculture such as robotics, self-driving tractors, automated irrigation systems, aerial and ground-based monitoring tools, drone and satellite surveillance, air and soil sensors, and artificial intelligence, which are aiding in feeding the world. All of these technologies need software to run and coders to create it. Readers will learn how to enter the industry and what kind of education is needed for these specific fields.
