Review
'This is a thorough review on all aspects of the management of a disabled person with upper motor neurone syndrome and spasticity.' Aslib Book Guide
'There is an excellent chapter on the Neurophysiology of Spasticity, which is well written and should be easily understood by non-physiologists ... The book is a welcome addition to the library of Neurologists and Neurosurgeons particularly those involved in Neurohabilitation, as well as Allied Health professionals involved in the treatment of patients with spasticity.' Journal of Clinical Neuroscience
'... the discussion on orthoses and splinting is excellent and presents a balanced view in a useful and succinct way ... This is a book that is likely to be read by those in palliative medicine who look after people with advanced chronic neurological disease ...'. Palliative Medicine
'I would recommend this book to the neurological team. Each member would gain knowledge from this book and it would guide the team to work in a more cohesive manner with better understanding of each member's role.' Neuropsychological Rehabilitation
'... this book is essentially practical and covers spasticity management at a level that is detailed but accessible. It is priced affordable for libraries and individual practitioners. I think it will be well received and well read by both trainees and more experienced colleagues within multidisciplinary spasticity teams.' Developmental Medicine and Child Neurology
