This traditional lab manual for the A&P course examines every structure and function of the human body. In addition to a large variety of illustrations, the manual features dissection of the cat, numerous physiological experiments, an emphasis on the study of anatomy through histology, lists of appropriate terms accompanying art, numerous photomicrographs and specimen photos, phonetic pronunciation and derivation of terms, diagrams of lab equipment, lab report questions and report templates, and three appendices. An instructor's guide is available and provides detailed information for instructors about needed materials, suggestions, and answers to questions.
About the Authors:
Robert Amitrano, the Biological Coordinator at Bergen Community College, teaches human anatomy and physiology, human biology, comparative anatomy and embryology. He is a colleague of Gerard Tortora's, and has worked on prior editions of that market leading Human Anatomy and Physiology text and continues to update and enhance the Lab Manual that supports Tortora¿s text. Robert Amitrano has also twice received awards from Who's Who Among America's Teachers.
Gerard J. Tortora teaches at Bergen Community College. He is the well-known author of the best-selling and highly praised PRINCIPLES OF HUMAN ANATOMY, Tenth Edition published by John Wiley & Sons.
