Untethered: The Journey from Pain to Purpose
Are you living like a balloon straining against invisible tethers, designed to soar but held back by past pain?Discover the path to freedom in this groundbreaking Christian guide to healing from trauma and finding God's purpose for your life.
In Untethered, you'll discover a transformative path from the wounds that have defined you to the freedom Christ intends for you.
We all carry invisible tethers—painful experiences and trauma that whisper "you're not enough," "no one can be trusted," or "you'll never succeed." These narratives limit our choices, distort our self-perception, and keep us from embracing God's purpose for our lives.
What You'll Find Inside:
•A biblically grounded approach to identifying and healing from emotional wounds
•Powerful insights on how trauma becomes intertwined with identity
•Practical steps to break free from emotional and spiritual stagnation
•Scripture-based guidance for embracing forgiveness as a pathway to freedom
•Transformative exercises for rebuilding your identity based on biblical truth
•Reformed theological perspective on creating meaning from suffering
•Clear direction for discovering God's purpose for your life beyond pain
Each chapter includes practical worksheets designed for both individual reflection and group discussion. These tools help you move from understanding to action, applying transformative truths to your unique situation.
Who This Book Is For:
•Christians struggling with past trauma or emotional wounds
•Pastors and counselors seeking biblically sound resources for helping others
•Small group leaders looking for meaningful study material
•Anyone seeking to understand God's sovereignty in suffering
•Those wanting to integrate faith and psychological insights in their healing journey
Untethered speaks to anyone who has experienced suffering—from childhood trauma to adult disappointments—and offers a theologically sound approach to emotional healing and personal growth. It affirms God's sovereignty over both suffering and healing while providing practical steps toward freedom.
You were created for more than survival; you were designed to soar. Begin your journey from pain to purpose today.
Perfect for individual study, small groups, and church counseling ministries. Grounded in Reformed theology, while being accessible to Christians from various backgrounds.
