As terrified citizens reached for their guns for protection, militias around the country mobilized to confront the threat they had trained for all their lives, a war against federal authorities. Hoken must find the mastermind of a dark plot reaching all the way to the White House to turn America on itself. About the Author: David Callaway is a journalist and media executive with more than forty years of news experience in the U.S. and around the world. He's a former editor of USA Today and of MarketWatch and a former chief executive officer of TheStreet, Inc. He's also a former president of the World Editors Forum, a Paris-based media freedom organization. He's currently the founder and editor of Callaway Climate Insights, a newsletter about climate entrepreneurs and investors. This is his first novel. He lives in Marin County, California, with his wife, Nanci.
