Print on Demand. This book tells the captivating historical account of the political struggle between three parties during a time of division, weaving together the threads of economics, slavery, and racial prejudice. It explores the Abolition party's communist ideals, the Republican party's capitalistic agenda, and the Democratic party's pursuit of political equality among white men. The author argues that the difference between these parties was not about slavery but about their economic principles, which ultimately caused the Civil War. The analysis offers a rich understanding of how these parties shaped the nation's course, highlighting the profound impact of their political ideologies on American history. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book.
