Two years ago, during a brief blackout in her apartment hallway, Lian’s fiancé vanished.
There was no struggle. No explanation. No body.
Only absence.
Over time, the story simplified itself:
He left.
She survived.
Life continued.
Until the night she finds a café that shouldn’t exist.
Hidden between ordinary buildings, the Café of Forgotten Wishes serves no food — only possibilities. Its menu offers impossible things: the self you abandoned, the conversation you never had, the choice you didn’t make.
And behind the counter stands Adam — calm, watchful, and far too aware of her.
Inside the café, memories are not passive. They are structural.
When Lian begins restoring the truth about the night her fiancé disappeared, the café fractures. Mirrors split. The air thins. A shadow presses through cracked glass.
Because her fiancé did not leave.
He was removed from sequence.
And the deeper she restores the truth, the more unstable reality becomes.
Now a new door has appeared — one that was never part of the café.
If she opens it, she will stop being protected.
If she doesn’t, she may lose him forever.
But the most dangerous revelation is not what happened that night.
It’s that this isn’t the first time she has stood inside the café.
